Georges Clerget took over the estate in 1970. The two brothers worked hand in hand throughout their careers while at the same time creating their own estates: Georges Clerget and Michel Clerget.
Michel retired in 1990, leaving his vineyards to his nephew Christian, who was already working alongside his father Georges.
Georges chose to mechanize his work, investing early on in one of the first high-clearance tractors. After years of plowing and treating with horses, he described the machine as "a real revolution in the quality and ease of work." Officially, Georges retired in 1996, but he continued to be involved, always ready to lend a helping hand and hop on the high-clearance tractor.

After studying at the Beaune viticultural school, Christian joined his father Georges on the family estate. After years of working together, he took over the estate in 1996, implementing new cultivation techniques such as leaf thinning and green harvesting. He also steered the estate towards more environmentally-friendly practices, which paved the way for its future conversion to organic agriculture.
In the winery, Christian has retained a traditional winemaking method inherited from his ancestors, one that is natural and low-interventionist. He was joined in 2000 by his wife Isabelle, who manages the administrative and commercial side of the business, as well as seasonal vineyard work.
